Montage Marketing is looking for an experienced Product Specialist to join our growing team. Qualified candidates will have the skills, experience, and attention to detail needed to contribute to and support a nationwide tour focused on health advocacy for underrepresented populations in biomedical research.
This is a full-time, seasonal, exempt position working a nationwide tour from April – November 2025, contingent on the extension of the contract. Anticipated regional placement for this position will be based on client and agency needs. This is subject to change throughout the tour according to project needs.
If you are not local to the Metro Washington, DC area (Maryland, Washington, DC, or Virginia), we would consider candidates residing in one of the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, or West Virginia.
Anticipated weekly salary for this role is $1,350 - $1,400 ($2,925.00 - $3,033.33 semi-monthly) + benefits (see list below).

About the Role
The Product Specialist serves as a vital part of the field team, bringing the program to life through personal interaction, educational messaging, and positive energy. The ideal candidate for this role has experience representing health-related client accounts, the ability to take in vast amounts of knowledge and relay it succinctly to diverse audiences, all with a positive attitude and high energy approach.
Requirements
- A minimum of three (3) years of experiential marketing work experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and perform physical tasks including, but not limited to, set up and tear down of event elements including tents, weights, tables, chairs, signage, banners, etc
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience driving long distances (4 hours or more), and traveling from market to market for assigned projects during evenings and/or weekends
- Experience maintaining, driving and traveling alone in a company tour or chase vehicle
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings/weekends/holidays and under various weather exposure
- Experience training and managing brand ambassadors and volunteers
- Demonstrated successful track record working with field tour teams
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Experience with health, multi-cultural, education, and/or community projects
- Experience being part of tour teams of two people or more
- Experience as a spokesperson or brand representative for media and targeted audiences
- Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
- Successfully pass background check, credit check, drug screening, and driving history
- Comfortable working in non-traditional and diverse settings
- Excellent communications skills - ability to verbally communicate with ease to various audiences
- Experience with technology inclusive of: Mac and/or Windows computers, Apple iPads, and Microsoft Office software
- Focus on results, quality, and attention to detail
- Be punctual and maintain a professional demeanor

Responsibilities
Event Execution
- Support the maintenance of the work space to be a clean, show-ready event space
- Work with Tour team to coordinate event and travel logistics
- Flexibility to accommodate execution changes
- Support pre promotional efforts through canvassing and educational activations
- Conduct in-market press and sponsorship activities inclusive of special presentations, media interviews, and other opportunities that may arise
- Take event photos and videos to capture key moments to support social efforts
- Coach and manage part-time staff and volunteers for optimal client representation and performance. Serve as staffing partner on-site contact
- Train and equip field peers with best practices and relevant program information for the event
- Flexibility to support other duties as assigned
Engagement
- Communicate complex program messaging to targeted audiences
- Prepare messaging points for activations per the provided market and event information
- Support visitor navigation of on-site engagements and the program enrollment process
- Provide creative and strategic recommendations and solutions to generate event engagement
- Attract and encourage visitors to the event footprint
- Participate in program knowledge, protocol and engagement trainings
- Continuously study and stay informed on program updates and messaging points
Tracking and Reporting
- Provide insights related to engagement, media, and enrollment challenges in specific markets through the completion of reports and ongoing communication with project team
- Contribute to the program Key Performance Indicators
- Rate the performance of brand ambassadors, market to market
- Submit timesheet and expense reports with proper documentation for payment and reimbursement
