Montage is looking for a Data Analyst to join our growing team. Qualified candidates will have the knowledge, experience and attitude needed to effectively decipher data and detect trends across programs. The role supports various programmatic teams within Montage Marketing Group.

This is a full-time, exempt position working a hybrid schedule of home office and at Montage’s McLean, VA office. Annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $75,000.

About the Role

The Data Analyst will support the Data & Analytics Team in performing data analysis, generating reports, and contributing to the development of cloud/hybrid data solutions for internal and external clients. The ideal candidate can identify operational incongruities and recommend/implement the best remediation.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics, or related fields
  • 5-7 years of experience creating complex queries with Python; SQL experience a plus
  • Familiarity with statistical software including SPSS or R
  • Proficiency with data modeling and visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau; Zoho Analytics experience a plus
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel (syntax, pivot tables, power query, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud-based data technologies
  • Knowledge of various ETL techniques
  • Strong organizational, communication, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
  • Must have prior authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for projects and initiatives that require data aggregation, analysis, and integration
  • Work with the data team to build and maintain database environments


The core responsibility of the Data Analyst is to analyze and aggregate disparate data points for the development of reports, presentations, and dashboards for both internal and external clients. The Data Analyst will help to automate the aggregation process, to include the development of new tools and resources. The ideal candidate must be a team player, have a keen eye for detail, and bring a visionary attitude.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate in new asset development to ensure mechanisms are in place for data capture; provide input and recommendations for changes to processes, tools, methods, and training to enable achievement of the program goals
  • Perform ETL operations of data securely and within data governance standards
  • Track company time accurately using the company’s internal time tracking system.
