Montage is looking for a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our growing team. Qualified candidates will have the skill, experience, and attention to detail needed to contribute to and support communication and marketing campaigns for a variety of diverse clients and communities.

About the Role

Serving on a broader team of experienced marketing communications personnel, the Marketing Communications Coordinator is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment with passionate stakeholders. You will build key relationships, uncover expertise, find the most meaningful stories to tell, and connect the dots.

Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple projects, possess strong project management skills, exercise excellent proofreading and editing abilities, and exhibit impeccable attention to detail. This is a full-time, exempt position working a hybrid schedule at Montage’s McLean, VA office and employee’s home office.

Education and Experience

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Prior work in an agency preferred
  • Experience using CRM, project management, internal time tracking, and expense management systems
  • BA Communications, Marketing, or similar field, or commensurate experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Self-starter, inquisitive, creative, innovative, solution-oriented, and flexible.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with ease. Copy editing and technical writing with agency experience or government plain language writing.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Poise and confidence with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience identifying and measuring meaningful campaign performance metrics.
  • Advanced competencies in Mac systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite a plus.


  • Develop and support integrated marketing communications campaigns designed to raise our profile within government and other key sectors.
  • Develop marketing assets that maximize engagement opportunities.
  • Write purpose-driven narratives and messaging with differentiated points of view for diverse and segmented audiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the agency to execute marketing plans and support cross-cutting initiatives and special projects.
  • Manage and support outreach campaigns for various client projects using an email marketing platform and social media.
  • Draft content for marketing collateral, including web content, brochure copy, and social media content; work with creative team to create marketing collateral.
  • Craft high level messages for marketing campaigns.
